A ring bearer is one of the most important persons in a wedding ceremony. Without this cute little boy, the wedding ceremony would be incomplete. A ring bearer may be the smallest and the youngest person in a wedding ceremony but his role is too huge and cannot be ignored. We cannot deny the fact that children easily get bored. Due to this, you have to keep this little boy entertained in order for him not to get bored and lose his mood.
During the wedding, you may ask the help of your ring bearer’s parents to keep their child entertained all throughout the wedding ceremony. Parents know best when it comes to controlling the mood of their kids. Another way to keep your ring bearer entertained is to give him a gift which you think he will enjoy having. Examples would include but are not limited to the following: a toy car, a personalized ring bearer pillow, a box of chocolates, and educational toys.
It is important to keep your ring bearer entertained so that he may be able to treasure his experience as a ring bearer when he grows old.

Matching the color theme of your wedding to your wedding theme is one of the most important things that you have to consider in planning your wedding ceremony. If you opt to have a winter wedding celebration, then, you have to choose colors that would correspond with that theme.
There are various popular winter wedding colors from which you can choose from.
Red. This is one of the most popular color schemes for a winter wedding celebration since it is known to complement the season well. You may either choose to use a pure shade of red or combine it with other colors such as black. The combination of red and black is best for gothic style winter wedding ceremonies.
Silver. Another popular winter wedding color is silver. You may combine it with gold, ice blue, black, navy blue or emerald green. Silver and gold are two stunning colors which when combined create an excellent dashing sophisticated style. On the other hand, the combination of silver and ice blue would make an excellent winter wonderland scenery during your wedding day.
Black and White. Another popular color combination for a winter wedding is black and white. It is commonly used during New Year’s Eve winter wedding ceremonies. The combination of the black tuxedos of the men combined with the stunning white gown of the bride indeed creates a perfect scene.
Other popular colors include the combination of burgundy and emerald, a shade of sunny yellow, and an accent of ocean tones.
Enjoy picking your winter wedding color!

The colour and style of the garter is what’s important. What is your colour preference? Perhaps your preference is soft pastel pink, hot sexy red, pure as silk white, intense sexy black or electric blue, pastel light blue? This is a very important answer to know and it’s a great starting point. Pick a colour and a style then you are almost there. Do you want a plain garter or a customized one? Consider styles such as white lace, ivory satin, add sweet pearls or spectacular jewellery. It is a treasure that the receiver of this garter will keep. Do you want a bow on it or plain? There are thousands of styles and colours to choose from. This is an inexpensive decision. You can buy online and pick out the style you want. They start around $20.00 each and up. It may be a good idea to buy a few of them to get an idea of which one you will like best.
The colours are important. You want to pick a sexy red or black garter. You can find these in women’s lingerie. You may want to add rhinestones, pearls, or crystals to it. You will likely want it to match the tiara, headband or dress. You may choose the innocent white colour or an ivory. You can also choose a set. You keep one and toss one.
You also need to consider what size is needed. Measure your leg just above the knee where you will war it. They usually come in one size because of the elastic band. You may need a plus size garter at plus size stores or check online. You can choose something very simple or elegant. You can choose something very plain or extraordinary. Try a purple garter or bright electric colours. Have a garter made especially for you. Consider the shock factor to your guests. Maybe this is what you are going for in the presentation.

Casual wedding ceremonies are becoming more and more popular these days. It still remains a personal choice for the bride and groom, but it seems like the new generation prefers to draw from their own imagination, rather than stick to the traditional ways. While choosing between formal and casual wedding ceremony, the thing remember is that your wedding day is an once-in-a-lifetime occasion and how do you picture this day in your mind.
In a way, casual wedding ceremonies are a deliberate decision to walk away from the frills and pomp of the traditional ceremonies. The stiff necked tuxedos and traditional white gowns are thrown away for themes dresses and setting close to the couples’ heart. Casual weddings are now held anywhere, on a beach, on a boat, a hill, a meadow, in a beautiful garden or by a lake, somewhere that means something to the people tying the knot.

Using calla lilies as a feature of your wedding is a great way to add a subtle theme to your decor. Calla lilies look beautiful when featured as centerpieces, or as part of a bouquet alongside flowers with complimentary coloured petals. They can also be used to decorate your guestbook and pen, or can be used on your ring pillow or flower basket to add interest. They even look beautiful as part of a cake design, which you can match with a cake server set with calla lily ornaments. Another idea is to add a calla lily to your wedding outfit. Although a full flower would be too bulky and overwhelming, a small brooch looks elegant with its symbolism of purity and beauty.

Calla Lilies are a favorite symbol at weddings. The pure white color and trumpet shaped flower make a beautiful addition to a bouquet and this symbolizes rebirth and resurrection (ironically making it a symbol of funerals as well.) But don't think it's a boring theme for a wedding - they come in different colors as well, including yellow and pink. Aside from placing them in a bouquet, you can also place them along the pews of the church, "trumpeting" the arrival of the bride as she walks down the aisle. Or, why not have a fresh arrangement at the reception, where you can admire their beauty.

The wedding toast is a long-standing tradition at any ceremony. Usually, it begins with a close friend (often the best man) toasting the bride and groom on their special day. It is followed up by a response from the groom (with some words to his new wife, of course) and finally, the father of the bride stands up and gives his toast, ending with an invitation for the reception to begin. The toast, of course, is a way for those closest to the bride and groom to impart their best wishes. Originally, the toast was just one pewter or silver cup shared between the bride and groom (who could not spill a drop of wine, lest they have bad luck) but today, toasting cups come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be customized to suit your wedding theme.

Cutting the cake at a wedding symbolizes the first task that newlyweds must perform together. Previously, it was the bride’s “job” to cut the cake and hand it to their guests. The cake cutting tradition is a must for any wedding, and aside from the cake itself, the cake servers are just as important. While tradition dictates that it must be silver, there are other options to choose from, such as those that will match your theme. If you are having a tropical destination wedding, why not choose mother-of-pearl handled cake servers? The cake servers and knife can also be decorated with the colors which match the theme of the wedding.

Wedding guestbooks and pens are a wonderful addition to your big day – it’s a small touch but it makes a big difference. In the old days, this tradition had something to do with necessity, rather than sentimentality. When a couple was married, everyone who came to the wedding was a witness, and therefore required to sign the marriage contract. Of course, today, this is no longer needed, but having a guest book everyone can sign and write their best wishes for you is a wonderful keepsake to have. There are many unique guestbook’s available, but make sure the one you get matches your wedding theme and colors.

The throwing of the garter is actually one of the oldest traditions during weddings. In the 14th Century in Europe, it was believed that having a piece of the bride’s clothing was good luck for wedding guests. This actually led to having the poor bride’s dress torn to shreds, so instead the couple began throwing pieces of clothing (such as the garter) to the guests instead. Over the years, this evolved, and the male guests would often get drunk and rowdy, sometimes forcibly removing the garter themselves. This did not sit well with the groom, so then grooms began removing the garters from their new wives to toss to his eager friends. So this tiny scrap of fabric will be seen by everyone at the wedding, and therefore it’s important that it match the rest of the wedding theme.
